What a waste of beautiful space that could be restored to its original function. Tell me that Greenpoint doesn't need a movie house and I'll tell you about the thousands of eateries that come and go from one month to the next that we don't need. Someone do something!!<br />Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8961393569014613927.post-68547877484251736632018-06-19T07:34:36.085-07:002018-06-19T07:34:36.085-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17965125176945696361noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8961393569014613927.post-73229136794683897172018-01-17T11:36:02.798-08:002018-01-17T11:36:02.798-08:00I just entered the drug store today for the first ...I just entered the drug store today for the first time in my life. After looking around I thought it MUST have been a movie theatre. I spoke to a woman in the store who mentioned it was a theatre and then a roller rink. What a beautiful piece of architecture wasted on such an ordinary unrelated merchant of overpriced dribble.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02387713441243525671noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8961393569014613927.post-46542453531498381972015-09-24T14:53:35.159-07:002015-09-24T14:53:35.159-07:00Thank you for your comment. However, the first time I inquired about the disco ball the clerk working the counter informed me that it had been a dance hall. I'm glad that the various occupants have allowed some relics of the building's past life to remain.Cory in North Brooklynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03618198665108518137noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8961393569014613927.post-25878017960713086722013-08-18T14:31:06.896-07:002013-08-18T14:31:06.896-07:00Very interesting!
